I think it is only for Mumbai Consulate(as mentioned in VFS (http://www.vfs-usa.co.in)).
"For Mumbai consular district applicants only: Drop off your required documents three working days prior to your appointment at a VFS Application Centre in Mumbai, Pune or Ahmedabad."
No where it is mentioned that HYD consulate has started. Where did you find it?

Going after employers to tackle the undocumented employees seems a better way of dealing with this issue of immigration than going after illegal immigrants. They are coming here only because they can find jobs.........and some of the employers exploit them too.

It took 8 months for the paper work,running ads etc.
It was filed on Nov 9th and my HR got approval on Jan 5th.
EB3 and EB2 from same Company.
Do you have 3 years bachelors Or 4 years Bachelors + MS? I have 3 years bachelors and 8 years of experience with same employer and 15+ years experience in same field. Am I eligible to port from Eb3 to Eb2? How much is cost invloved approx?

AR-11 is filed manually and mailed. Everyone will use 41 cents stamp.. No way to track it if its really done or not.. Its in your interest only if you've pending applciation where you expect any replies to your address...

I guess EAD is personal property not employer property. I had filled my I-485, EAD and AP and my employer does not even know it. On top of it i had completed 180 days and moving to another job.
Are you in H1B or EAD. If in EAD you have to renew it yourself the employer has nothing on your EAD.

My employer and lawyer won't give me the Receipt notice of my I-485 which we filed on July 2nd. My employer did not let me file my EAD/AP as well.
Do I have any way of filing EAD/AP on my own without a copy of the receipt notice(after it is generated and sent to the lawyer)?
Someone told me that Fingerprinting notice that we get looks just like I-485 receipt notice and has all the information in there. Can we use a copy of that notice in place of I-485 RN?
The application instructions for I-765 mention that we need to submit "I-485 receipt notice OR any other proof that I-485 is pending"
Any one?

Me and my wife are July 2007 filers. We applied for Ead renwal.
My wife started her own business and opened a LLC.
Which means she is using her EAD. But how does the USCIS know that she is using her EAD.
My question is when she aplied for the business license , she has given her SSN everywhere but how does the agencies know that this particular person is using EAD

no it doesnt....check on ..there are so many people getting consecutive luds...but then they dont get approvals. in the end it means that its a new lud. someone accessed your case and the lud was either because some accessed it or it was a system generated lud.
i hope that eb2-june03-dude gets his green soon...but the lud doesnt mean anything

My wife is currently working on H1B, she was offer permanent position at the client she is working, she has to get on to EAD to take permanent position.
both my wife and myself got EAD's in Oct 07, my question is does she has to invoke AC21 to get on to EAD.
I am the primary candidate for our GC Process.

Mine is 2003 EB3 labor, I don�t have copy of the labor. Don�t know the job code and title, planning to switch AC21 and not sure how to get this code as i had already left the old blood sucking desi employer, any suggestions,

I am in the similar situation too. I don't have my Labor approval copy and I changed my job using AC21. Now I am trying to change my attorney since my ex employee's attorney will not talk to me and all the RFEs will still go to him unless I file a G-28 form. But all the attorneys I talked to is asking for that LCA form from my previous employer.
My question to you is are you able to find an attorney to represent you since you changed the job?..

I was not in town on the day that they had asked me to be at the service center. So I requested a later date. Lo and behold one fine day I got my EAD approved without any fingerprints. Don't ask my how it was approved but that is the case.

I am confused about the "Note" that is written under the Family Based PREFERENCES chart in VB. Could some one make me understand in simple language what the below note says?
